Meet the Artists
At Corks and Canvas Events, we are proud to offer you beautiful art and quality art instruction from a lineup of notable artists and guest artists.

Angela Bandurka Hoskins was born in British Columbia, Canada, and comes from a multi-generational family of passionate artists. She started drawing as a child and completed her first commissioned portrait at 15. Her 12 years of corporate experience as a Graphic Artist and Art Director for companies like Costco and RealNetworks have been invaluable to her sense of design and color. Her work has been exhibited in shows throughout Western Washington and British Columbia. She is currently represented by Parklane Gallery in Kirkland, Washington. Angela makes her home in the Pacific Northwest.
Linnea Garcia-Tatupu comes from a family of artists, entertainers and athletes several generations deep. As a versatile artist who works in numerous mediums, her passion for self expression was influenced by her travels, exposure to other cultures and her childhood in Hawaii. Linnea is thrilled to be part of an opportunity that incorporates her favorite things; people, art and the ability to help others create excitement by discovering something new. She comes to Seattle regularly to visit her son and favorite linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, Lofa Tatupu and his wife Rachael.
Suzy Summit Cyr began her love affair with the ocean growing up near beaches and tide pools in Southern California drawing the treasures that were found there. As an artist and illustrator, Suzy parlayed her interest in both biology and art into a degree and a career in Biomedical Illustration and has created numerous book covers and interior illustrations for publishing companies, as well as creating artwork for oceanariums, educational institutions, and public gardens. She loves working with watercolor on paper and dyes on silk, ever trying to portray the delicate and sometimes dramatic qualities of light and color that sparkle and shift beneath the surface of the water. Suzy’s other artistic passion is teaching fine art to children and adults through weekly classes conducted in her home studio. She loves introducing students to the joys of creative art, helping them make and explore a wide variety of artistic media.
